I took this photo at the entry of the campus (Checkpoint Charly) of the University of Twente. It shows the old logo of the university, which I like better than the new one. It was made out of a piece of metal with hundredths of holes in it, these form the actual logo.

This shot was a bit tricky because of the streetlight from the front and the blue backlight of the logo.

Sunny giraffe

I took this photo in the zoo of Emmen, the Netherlands.
It was my first trip to a zoo with my camera. It was a great sunny day with a lot of fun and more great photos.
I think we will see some more photos of this trip, later.

Blossom of a tree

Todays picture was taken in Enschede, the Netherlands. It’s a wonderful blossom of a tree nearby my house.
This picture was taken with my Canon EF 28-135, which I sold recently.

If anyone knows what kind of tree it is, please tell me!

The first post in my new blog.

This photo was taken at the power plant in Lingen (Ems), Germany. I was on a photo-tour with a colleague in a cold winter night when I shot it.

I really like the atmosphere of the shot.
